For business owners and leaders ready to put AI to work. With a coach for every six people, you'll set Claude up to take on jobs you do every week, like drafting replies to customer emails, turning an enquiry into a quote, or pulling your numbers into a Monday report. You leave with an automation running on your own business.

You'll need a paid Claude Max plan on the day. Details in the FAQ.

“I found myself intimidated by learning Claude Code. The team made it so incredibly easy.”

Why now / 01

The weekly admin is now cheap to automate.

Claude can now read your inbox and draft replies for you to check and send, turn an enquiry into a quote, and pull your numbers together every Monday. Setting that up used to take a developer and a few weeks. Now the person who knows the work best, usually the one running the business, can do it in a day.

If you've used Claude or ChatGPT for writing and research and want to go further, this is the next step: AI that does the work, with people in the room to get you unstuck when you hit a wall.

What you'll automate / 02

Two automations in one day.

The morning

We learn the basics together by setting up a personal dashboard. Everyone works through it at the same time with a live walkthrough and coaches on hand, so by lunch you have it working.

The afternoon

Your own process, one you bring with you: drafting replies to customer emails, quoting, chasing invoices, a weekly report, or the admin you do every Monday.

The day / 03

A run of show.

Two weeks before: a pre-work video covering Claude Max setup, installing Claude Code, scoping your project and what to bring.

Saturday 28 November

  1. 9:30am Welcome and set up.
  2. 10:00am Automation one. We set up a personal dashboard together.
  3. 12:30pm Lunch.
  4. 1:30pm Automation two. A process from your own business.
  5. 4:30pm Show and tell.
  6. 5:00pm Wrap.

Who it's for / 04

Business owners and leaders with work to hand off.

You run a business or lead a team. You've used AI for writing and research, and there's a job in your week you'd hand to someone else if you could. No coding background needed: you describe the work in plain English and Claude does the technical part.

You'll leave with

  • An automation running on a real process from your business.
  • A repeatable way to automate the next one on Monday.
  • A clearer sense of what AI can take on now and what still needs you.
  • 29 other people to compare notes with afterwards.
“My advice is to jump in whether or not you're doing hard-core product development.”
Aubrey Blanche, Founder, The Mathpath

What people said / 06

From people who've done a Build Day.

I haven't stopped since!

“The Wellcome AI Build Day gave me the confidence to start building with AI - and I haven't stopped since! Elizabeth, Kailash and Ant made the day hands-on, accessible and adapted the workshop to our questions. Kailash shared practical tips and resources I'm still using weeks later, while explaining the 'why' behind what we were doing. I left inspired to keep experimenting and building. I'd recommend the Build Day to anyone wanting to build their confidence and get hands-on with the rapidly evolving world of AI.”
Justin Farrell, Product Owner Coach, Greenstone

They created a safe, supported place to learn.

“I loved Product Build Day. I'm not a product manager (I'm an AI ethicist), and I found myself intimidated by learning Claude Code. The team made it so incredibly easy, and what I felt I got the most of was confidence: they created a safe, supported place to learn that's started me rolling on a journey where I'm now building things on my own. My advice is to jump in whether or not you're doing hard-core product development: this team can help you develop the skills to build for yourself.”
Aubrey Blanche, Founder, The Mathpath

When we hit a wall, we could ask for help and get expert advice within minutes.

“I came into the Claude Code course with Elizabeth, Kailash and Ant Murphy knowing I needed to get more out of the tool, but not knowing where to start. What I loved was the balance. The content was informative without being overwhelming, so I never felt drained, and there was plenty of room to explore on my own. When we hit a wall, we could ask for help and get expert advice within minutes. You could tell Elizabeth, Kailash and Ant really wanted to help us, not just get through the material! Most of all, it gave me something I rarely get with a busy schedule: dedicated time to actually use the tool, test ideas and learn by doing. I left with real skills I'm already using, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Claude Code properly!”
Carla Mizrahi, Product Lead, Partnerships, Thanks

The biggest takeaway was how much context matters.

“I'd barely used Claude, so I was keen to see how other people were actually using it and what it's used for. The biggest takeaway was how much context matters. Going through it as a group was really helpful for figuring out what tool works best for each use case.”
Sabine Selbach, Founder, Mikado AI

We feel superhuman.

“Thank you so much for Saturday — James and I got so much out of it. We feel so empowered with this new knowledge and feel like our possibilities are now endless. We feel superhuman.”
Tegan Childs, Legal Practitioner Director, Tusk Law

A concrete plan for which tasks to automate and which tools to use.

“I walked away with a clear, realistic view of what AI can and can't do today, plus a concrete plan for which tasks to automate and which tools to use.”
Louise Stack, Senior Contracts Administrator, Skyline Projects

The practical bits / 07

Where
Haven Gallery, 102 Jonson Street, Byron Bay. We build inside a working gallery, on Starlink internet.
When
Saturday 28 November 2026, 9:30am to 5pm.
Bring
Your laptop, Claude Code installed (the pre-work video covers this) and a real project. No coding background needed.
A note on your Claude plan
You'll need an active Claude Max 5x plan on the day. The pre-work assumes you're on it, and the build exercises rely on the usage limits it gives you. You can downgrade to Pro after the day.
A note on your laptop
If your company laptop blocks Claude Code or developer tools, flag it when you book. There's usually a way around it, like a personal laptop on the day or a project scoped to your constraints. We sort it before the day so you're not stuck on it.
Travelling in?
The Byron Wellness Festival runs 27 to 29 November and Schoolies is on, so accommodation will be tight. Book early.

Pricing / 08

FAQ / 09

Common questions.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the work in plain English and Claude handles the technical side. The pre-work video covers setup.

What should I bring to work on?

A process from your business you'd like off your plate: replying to enquiries, quoting, chasing invoices or a weekly report. If you arrive with only a vague "what if", we'll help you shape it in the morning.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

Yes, Claude Max 5x for the day. Pro will hit usage limits during a full day of hands-on work, so Max 5x is the right plan to start on. You can downgrade to Pro afterwards if you want to. The pre-work video walks you through setup.

Will my company laptop run Claude Code?

It might not. Some workplaces lock down developer tools. Sort this out before you book so you're not stuck on the day. A personal laptop is the simplest path. Flag it early if you need advice.

Can I expense this?

Most likely. Build with Claude is a hands-on AI training day, which most professional development and training budgets cover. Use the employer note above if you need sign-off.

What if I don't finish?

Most people get to something working by the end of the day. If you don't, you'll still leave with the skills and a structure to keep building on your own.

Can I come if I'm not from Byron?

Yes. Book accommodation early, as it's a busy weekend in Byron.

I already use Claude Code. Is this for me?

You're welcome. The day is built for people who haven't started yet, so you'll get more from the room and the conversations than the curriculum.

How is this different from the free Cowork workshop on Friday?

Friday's Claude Community workshop is a free three-hour introduction to Cowork in the Claude desktop app. Saturday is a full day automating a real process from your business with Claude Code, with a coach for every six people.

Can I cancel or transfer?

Refunds up to four weeks before. Inside that, transfer to a colleague (up to a week before, so they can do the pre-work). Reply to your booking and we'll handle it.
